A summary is a short paragraph that tells the employer why you are a good fit for the role. Here are some tips on how to write a summary for a resume with no experience:

  • Put real academic accomplishments, like projects you produced and tasks you led
  • Include what you’re passionate about to show the recruiter why you are applying for the job role
  • Include hard skills like “Python,” “Java” or “Excel,” especially those skills that are listed in the job description
